Maestro

The Company has also just acquired from Compu Home Systems Inc. the copyright to the “Maestro” software for Smart House technology. Maestro is a highly sophisticated system that consolidates a home's entire ensemble of household systems including heating, cooling, electricity and sprinkler systems which are all maintained at an even tempo by Maestro's watchful monitoring system. Simply tell Maestro what to watch for and it keeps vigil-24 hours a day. The system never gets outdated.

Our plans are to market to all residential consumers, commercial and government agencies throughout Canada, & USA and joint venture any and all other territories in the world.

Maestro's set-up procedure is easy to follow; yet won't bog you down. Its microprocessor offers as much memory as many personal computers, adapting readily to any adjustments or future enhancements. Maestro provides home- owners with the features they want and expect in a home automation system. It's reliable, convenient, and easy to use. Maestro is consistently maintained and serviced by the same trained servicing dealers who installed the system.

Manual overrides give you complete control and flexibility at all times. Maestro's intelligent software executes a series of commands just by touching a single button on the remote or

a series of buttons on any touch- tone phone. Adjustments can be made without turning on the television.

Maestro controls the house- hold via a computerized, micro- processor-based control unit. Though it looks much like a circuit breaker panel, inside are all the components found at the core of an extremely advanced home automation system. Five types of modular cards administer Maestro's many functions.

System cards interface with the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) and allow Maestro to maintain the climate control. A cut-in card takes control of the HVAC from the thermostat, allowing Maestro to control heating and cooling, thus conserving energy.

Zone cards control the dampers that heat and cool specified areas.

A video card allows Maestro to be displayed on your T.V. relay cards control various devices, such as fans, beepers, alarms and sprinkler systems. This type of relay acts as a switch. Digital sensors monitor open/closed conditions, such as motion, door and window closures. Analog sensors monitor range conditions such as the amount of light, temperature and humidity.' Maestro can interface with industry standard sensors.

Along with all appliances, Maestro can control both inside and outside incandescent and fluorescent lights and all related l2O volt and 22O volt functions, including dimming. Power line carrier devices allow the home- owner to control appliances, electrical outlets, and configure three- and four-way switching. These devices do not require special wiring

Maestro's HVAC dampers evolved from a computer model used to simulate a broad spectrum of conditions. Silent, electronically-controlled dampers, available in diameters from four to fourteen inches, channel warm or cool air when needed.

Maestro can be depended upon to perform even after a power failure. Backed by a battery and Maestro's memory.

Maestro does not lose its place during a power outage. When the power is restored it picks up exactly where it left off without the home owner having to re-establish commands.

Maestro is designed to accommodate the most complex and demanding home automation needs of even the largest homes. New technology won't render it obsolete; in fact, Maestro is designed to incorporate new technology into its system as advances occur.

Maestro's installation, maintenance and all related peripherals will be provided by a highly- trained, established servicing dealer with a stake in your consistent satisfaction. Home- owners are assured a full one- year warranty.
